3^rd Six Weeks

November 27^th – December 1^st

Art 1

Monday – Friday: Clay Pots – students will learn basic hand building techniques working with clay. We will produce pinch bowls and slab-built cups. Students will also add sculptural elements and textures to enhance the forms.

Art 2

Monday – Friday: Cardboard Design – Students will create an artwork from cardboard. 

Art 3-4

Monday – Friday: Advanced students will be working on individual artworks for various contests.

Sketchbooks due for Advanced Students Due December 19^th. 

December 4^th – 8^th

Art 1

Monday – Friday: Cardboard Cubist Portrait: Students will create a cardboard mask inspired by Cubism. 

Art 2

Monday – Friday: Cardboard Design Continued.

Art 3-4

Monday – Friday: Advanced students will be working on individual artworks for various contests.

Sketchbooks due for Advanced Students Due December 19^th. 

December 11^th – 15^th

Art 1 and Art 2

Monday – Friday: Make-Up Week, Students will complete all previous assignments.

Plushies, Students will be working with felt and stuffing to create plush figures.

Art 3-4

Monday – Friday: Advanced students will begin working on individual artworks for various contests.

December 18^th – 21^st 

All Classes, Monday/Tuesday: Studio Clean Up (Test Grade)
