OBJECTIVE: Students will summarize the car-buying process, describe types of vehicles and the advantages and disadvantages of each type. list transportation needs which should be considered when looking for a vehicle, analyze costs associated with a car and how to determine a car-buying budget, explain leasing and its benefits and drawbacks, discuss various sources of vehicle ratings, reviews, valuations and advice and investigate methods of examining and test-driving vehicles and strategies for negotiation.
